JennAir Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
JennAir has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under JennAir's factory warranty, start with JennAir. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Which burner, element or oven function fails, any code on the display, and whether it's gas, electric or induction.
In-Home Testing
The technician checks heat sources, sensors and switches, and confirms the power or gas reaching the unit.
A Price You Approve
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Fix and Check
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
JennAir range design and construction
JennAir's current ranges are pro-style machines in gas, dual-fuel and induction, as wide as 48 inches, with large convection ovens and electronic controls, and some recent models connect to Wi-Fi. On the gas surface, the steady tick-tick with no flame, or a burner that won't catch, comes from the spark module, the electrodes or the switch behind a knob. The dual-fuel oven heats with electric elements and a convection motor regulated by a probe and the board, while the all-gas oven depends on igniters and safety valves. Induction models carry power boards with their own cooling fans. Lightning nearby, or the jolt when power returns after a storm outage, can damage any of that electronics. Because a board often gets blamed for a fault elsewhere, the surrounding parts are tested first.
Common JennAir range failures
- Spark module or electrode fault
- Oven igniter or element failed
- Convection motor stopped
- Oven probe out of range
- Control board hit by surge

JennAir Range Repair FAQ
The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Water or grease on the electrode, a cap sitting crooked, or ports clogged with food. Let the burner dry fully and clear the ports with a pin. If it still won't catch, the spark module or the knob's switch is the next suspect.
It's possible. Surges can kill a board outright or just trip a fuse on it. Supply voltage, fuses and the board all get checked, and it helps to know if other electronics in the house were hit.
