Bosch Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
For most Tampa households the first Bosch in the house is the dishwasher, and a counter-depth fridge, an induction range or a stacked compact laundry pair often follows. Bosch has its own network of service companies and we are not one of them, so while the Bosch warranty is active, book the repair through Bosch. When it has lapsed, we come out, find the fault, and give you a price before any panel comes off.
How a Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
Tell us the appliance, its maker and the symptom. A photo of the model plate saves a step.
Diagnosis at Home
We test the likely parts on site, along with the power, water or venting the appliance depends on.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.

How Bosch's dishwashers think
A Bosch dishwasher watches itself. A float switch in the base pan, part of the AquaStop system, stops the cycle and runs the drain pump the moment it senses water where water shouldn't be, and the display shows E15. Drain trouble shows up as E24 or E25, and a heating fault in the pump-and-heater assembly as E09.
That makes the code a starting clue rather than a verdict. Drying works differently too: lower-series models dry by condensation, while 800 Series and some Benchmark machines use CrystalDry, a zeolite mineral that turns moisture into heat. In a humid kitchen, rinse aid makes a real difference to how dry things come out.
Who builds a Bosch
The appliances carry the Bosch name but are made by BSH Hausgeräte GmbH of Munich. Siemens once owned half of BSH; the Bosch Group bought that stake in a deal that closed at the start of 2015. Thermador and Gaggenau come from the same company, so some components overlap.
A good share of the Bosch appliances sold in America are built in New Bern, North Carolina, where BSH makes dishwashers and cooking products. That domestic production is one reason dishwasher parts are rarely hard to get.
Compact laundry in condos and closets
The 24-inch Bosch washer and dryer earn their place in high-rise condos along Bayshore, Harbour Island and the Channel District, and in hall closets in newer townhomes where a full-size pair won't fit. Many buildings don't allow a dryer vent through an exterior wall, which is why the condensation and heat-pump dryers are popular.
Those ventless dryers trade the vent for a condenser and a water path, so lint and drain problems replace vent problems. Condo access rules matter too: tell us about loading-dock hours, elevator reservations or a building engineer who must be present, and we plan the visit around them.
Bosch appliance lines
- Refrigerators: Shallow counter-depth Bosch fridges with French doors or a bottom freezer, and the Benchmark built-in columns. Ice makers, fill valves, fans, defrost trouble and sagging door hinges keep us busiest.
- Washers: 24-inch compact front-load washers in the 300, 500 and 800 Series, and older full-size Nexxt and Vision machines. Drain pumps and filters, door locks, bearings and boards fail most.
- Dryers: Compact condensation and heat-pump dryers, often stacked on the matching washer in a closet. Lint-clogged condensers, condensate pumps, drain hoses, sensors and belts cause most calls.
- Dishwashers: 100 through 800 Series and Benchmark dishwashers, many with CrystalDry. E15 leak trips, E24 and E25 drain faults, heater-pump failures, hinge cables and door latches lead the list.
- Ovens: Bosch wall ovens in one- and two-cavity form, plus speed and steam ovens, Benchmark included. Cooling fans, convection motors, elements, probes and door latches are where faults turn up.
- Microwaves: Over-the-range, built-in and drawer microwaves. Door interlocks, magnetrons, the drawer drive, keypads and hood blowers account for most of our work.
- Freezers: The pull-out freezer drawer on Bosch French-door models and Benchmark freezer columns. Ice makers, defrost heaters and sensors, fans and drawer rails are replaced most.
- Cooktops: Bosch induction, gas and radiant tops, 30 or 36 inches wide. We see failed induction power modules, stopped cooling fans, gas ignition faults and touch keys that no longer register.
- Stoves: Bosch's ranges, almost all slide-ins, which most people simply call the stove. Oven igniters, elements, sensors, surface burner ignition and door locks are common repairs.
- Ranges: Bosch slide-ins in gas, electric, induction and dual-fuel form, controls on the front edge. Induction electronics, the touch panel, convection motor, igniter and oven probe are the usual work.
Bosch parts and sourcing
BSH supplies Bosch parts itself, with a few distributors alongside, and plenty of wear items are common to Thermador and Gaggenau too. Because so many Bosch dishwashers are in service, their parts are easy to find; compact laundry boards and some refrigerator and oven components can mean a wait. The rating plate's E-Nr identifies the model and the FD code pins down the production run. We check stock during the visit and flag any part that isn't the original Bosch item.

Bosch Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Swing the door down and check the rim of the inner door, top or side. You're looking for two numbers, the E-Nr and the FD. Snap a photo of both and send it with your booking so the part can be looked up ahead of time.
Not necessarily. Bosch doesn't use an exposed drying element, so it relies on condensation or CrystalDry, plus rinse aid. Refill the rinse aid and use the extra-dry option. If drying suddenly got worse, we test the heater-pump and the drying system.
Book that repair through Bosch. Warranty work goes to their own service providers, and we aren't one. After the coverage period ends, we're glad to take it on.
Frequently. The stainless tub and racks outlast most of the parts bolted to them, and the usual failures, a pump, a sensor, hinge springs or a board, are replaceable. We judge the whole machine's condition before advising you to spend on it.
