Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The short answer

TrueFix Tampa does not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted or cross-site advertising. There is no customer list for rent, no data broker on the receiving end and no ad tracker on this site following you around the web.

What we have, and why

The information we hold is what it takes to fix an appliance: your name, phone number, email, the service address, the appliance and its problem, notes you add, and the record of the visit and payment. If you joined our text updates, we also keep proof of that consent. Basic web server logs, and Google Analytics if we have it turned on, record how the site is used.

Service providers are not buyers

A small number of vendors process information for us so the business can run: website hosting, email, scheduling software, text delivery and, when enabled, Google Analytics. They work on our instructions and are not given your details to advertise to you. The Privacy Policy describes each one.

Any move toward selling data or targeted advertising would be announced here, and in the Privacy Policy, ahead of time, with an opt-out offered before it took effect.

About Florida law

Florida does not currently give consumers a general right to opt out of the sale of their data by a small local business like ours; the state's Digital Bill of Rights is limited to very large companies. We keep this page so the answer is easy to find, not because a statute requires it.

Leaving a standing instruction
