Admiral Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Admiral has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under Admiral's factory warranty, start with Admiral. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Diagnosis at Home
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
Inside an Admiral range
Admiral ranges are plain freestanding 30-inch units, gas or electric. An electric one draws 240 volts through a cord bolted to a terminal block on the back panel; if a nut there works loose, the connection overheats and half the burners or the oven can go dead. A gas one still needs a 120-volt outlet for its igniter and clock. Each should be held by an anti-tip bracket at a back foot, and that bracket tends to vanish when a rental turns over or new flooring goes in. Relays on the control board switch the elements and can stick closed or stop closing. Because nothing is built in, we can reach most parts by sliding the range forward onto a floor protector.
Common Admiral range failures
- Cord terminal block scorched
- Gas oven igniter weak
- Relay board failed
- Anti-tip bracket gone
- Bake element dead

Admiral Range Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Usually one side of the 240-volt feed is missing, from a half-tripped breaker or a scorched terminal where the cord attaches. We check both before opening the range.
It is. Without it, weight on the open door can tip the range forward. We look for it any time we move a range and fit one if it's missing.
