KitchenAid Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

KitchenAid has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under KitchenAid's factory warranty, start with KitchenAid. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Mostly electric kitchens
Electric and induction cooking outnumber gas around Tampa, though gas ranges exist. Tell us which you have and read us the tag behind the drawer.
Condo kitchens
Recirculating range hoods and induction tops are common in towers. Add the building's contractor hours and elevator rules to your notes.
Something mounted above?
If a microwave or hood hangs over the cooking surface, mention it. It changes the working room, and an over-the-range unit comes off its wall plate for most repairs.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

Which burner, element or oven function fails, any code on the display, and whether it's gas, electric or induction.

02

In-Home Testing

We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.

03

A Price You Approve

You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

04

Fix and Check

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

KitchenAid range design and construction

Slide-in and commercial-style dual-fuel ranges are where most KitchenAid cooking repairs happen. On dual-fuel, gas burners up top light by spark, while the Even-Heat convection oven beneath runs on electricity, so oven trouble is electrical and burner trouble is gas, and they're diagnosed differently. The larger commercial-style ranges are heavy and stand on adjustable legs, so moving one means protecting the floor and the gas connection. On slide-ins, touch controls and boards sit close to the heat and fail with age. After self-clean the latch can refuse to release, and lopsided baking in convection mode points to the third element or its fan.

Common KitchenAid range failures

  • Burner not sparking or lighting
  • Convection element or fan failed
  • Touch control panel unresponsive
  • Oven sensor reading off
  • Door lock stuck after self-clean

FAQ

KitchenAid Range Repair FAQ

A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.

Didn't see your question?

Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.

Unlikely. The oven on a dual-fuel model is electric, and gas only feeds the burners. Look at the breaker for the range first; if it's on, we test the elements, the probe and the control.

Weight is the challenge. Floors and cabinet faces get covered first, and we handle the gas connection carefully. Many repairs don't require moving the range all the way out.
