LG range design and construction
LG ranges add touch controls, Wi-Fi, air fry, InstaView glass and slide-in or front-control layouts to the basic stove. Dual-fuel models put a gas cooktop over an electric oven. A range that won't heat or shows an error gets checked in order: sensor, elements, then the relays on the control board. Front-control touch panels get splashed and wear, and a failing one stops responding or registers presses nobody made. LG also recalled several hundred thousand electric ranges with front-mounted knobs that could be turned on by accidental contact, so we check your model against the CPSC notice before quoting. Convection fans and elements are the next most common repair. Anti-tip brackets go back on whenever a range is moved.
