Maytag Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Maytag has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under Maytag's factory warranty, start with Maytag. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works

We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
Maytag range design and construction
Front-control and slide-in Maytag ranges mount the touch panel and its board right where oven heat rises past them. Power Preheat models run more than one element at once to come up to temperature faster, so when one element or the relay driving it quits, the symptom is a sluggish preheat rather than no heat at all. Convection models add a fan on the back wall, and some a hidden ring element around it. Gas versions light the oven with a hot-surface igniter. A slide-in sits snug between cabinets, so getting at the wiring means sliding it out carefully, and the anti-tip bracket gets checked when it goes back. Touch controls that fail after a thunderstorm are worth testing piece by piece, because the panel, the board and the ribbon between them are separate parts.
Common Maytag range failures
- Touch panel not responding
- Slow preheat on a Power Preheat model
- Convection fan or element failed
- Gas oven igniter glowing weakly
- Oven temperature sensor failing

Maytag Range Repair FAQ
What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
One of the heating elements may be open, or the relay on the control that feeds it may have failed. On a gas range, a tired igniter delays ignition. We measure each element and the voltage reaching it.
Usually. The keypad, the control board and the cable joining them each get checked on their own, and only what has failed is replaced. Availability for your model is confirmed before anything is ordered.
