Look up your ZIP code

Enter a ZIP such as 33606 or 34655, or part of a name like Oldsmar, Wesley Chapel or Apollo Beach, then open its page.

Coverage: 103 ZIP codes grouped into 13 areas.

Cities and unincorporated communities

Our areas are named the way people around here talk, which isn't always how the map is governed. Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Oldsmar, Plant City, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills and Dade City are incorporated cities. Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, Land O' Lakes, Palm Harbor, Hudson and Spring Hill are not: they are unincorporated communities run by their county, even where the mail says otherwise.

Several areas mix the two. The Tampa area takes in the City of Tampa, the City of Temple Terrace and unincorporated places such as Town 'n' Country and Egypt Lake-Leto. Lutz, Land O' Lakes and Odessa straddle the Hillsborough-Pasco line, and one Spring Hill ZIP lies on the Pasco side. Each ZIP page says which applies.

Where our coverage stops

We don't work in Polk, Manatee, Citrus or Sumter counties. In Pinellas, the Gulf beach towns south of Clearwater Beach are outside our area, and so are Tarpon Springs and Safety Harbor. A few ZIPs inside the counties we serve aren't on the list either, among them Lithia and FishHawk, Seffner, MacDill Air Force Base and the USF campus.

If you're close to an edge and unsure, send a request with your ZIP code and we'll tell you either way.

Finding your page

Search by ZIP code. Your mailing address can mislead: homes in Town 'n' Country and other unincorporated communities often show “Tampa, FL” on their mail, and a Spring Hill address can sit in either of two counties. Each ZIP page names the neighborhoods inside it, and the area page above it covers local housing; from there you can open a page for any appliance we fix.

Helping us reach the appliance

Many homes here sit behind a gate, in an HOA community or in a condo tower, so a few details at booking go a long way: the gate code or guest-list name, which garage door or entrance to use, and any building rules such as elevator reservations or front-desk sign-in. For a rental, tell us who will let us in.

From there the visit is identical in every area. A technician tests the appliance where it stands, walks you through the fault and gives you a repair price, and no work begins until you approve it. A photo of the model-number label sent with your request improves the odds that the right part is already on hand.

TrueFix Tampa

Appliance Service for Tampa Houses, Condos and Rentals

Coverage goes by ZIP code. Every area and ZIP we cover is listed below, grouped by county, and each one links to its own page with notes on the homes there.

Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.
Condos & gated communities
High-rises Downtown or on Bayshore, HOA gates in Westchase or New Tampa: put the gate code, elevator rules or guest parking spot in your notes.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.
Mostly electric kitchens
Electric and induction cooking outnumber gas around Tampa, though gas ranges exist. Tell us which you have and read us the tag behind the drawer.
Lightning and surges
A nearby strike can take out a control board while the elements are fine. If the failure followed a storm, say so in your booking.

How a Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

The brand, the model tag if you can find it, and what you're seeing or hearing. Codes help too.

02

In-Home Testing

At your place the technician checks the unit and its outlet, water supply, drain or vent to find the fault.

03

A Price You Approve

We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.

04

Fix and Check

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
