Dacor Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Dacor has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under Dacor's factory warranty, start with Dacor. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Lightning and surges
A nearby strike can take out a control board while the elements are fine. If the failure followed a storm, say so in your booking.
Hard-to-light burners
Boil-overs and humid air keep igniters damp and clicking. Dry the burner caps fully before booking; if it still won't light, we'll test the switch and igniter.
Self-clean trouble
A self-clean cycle can blow a thermal fuse or lock the door. If the oven died right after one, say so; it narrows the fault.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.
Condos & gated communities
High-rises Downtown or on Bayshore, HOA gates in Westchase or New Tampa: put the gate code, elevator rules or guest parking spot in your notes.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.

02

Find the Fault

The technician checks heat sources, sensors and switches, and confirms the power or gas reaching the unit.

03

Your Go-Ahead

We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.

04

Fixed and Verified

After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.

Dacor range design and construction

Dacor's pro-style ranges run 30 to 48 inches in gas, dual-fuel and induction, some with a griddle. Dual-fuel models put gas burners over an electric oven that uses Dacor's convection system, so they need a gas line and a 240-volt circuit both. All-gas models fire the oven with an igniter and carry their own broiler. Induction models skip gas entirely and lean on power boards and cooling fans. These are heavy ranges; moving one means protecting the floor, disconnecting the utilities and reattaching the anti-tip bracket afterward. Most burner and oven work, though, can be done from the front.

Common Dacor range failures

  • Oven igniter not opening valve
  • Dual-fuel convection element open
  • Griddle burner won't light
  • Induction fan clogged
  • Burner valve stiff

FAQ

Dacor Range Repair FAQ

What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.

The oven runs on electricity, so it depends on the 240-volt feed, elements, relays and control. We confirm the breaker and incoming power, then test elements, relays and the sensor.

Usually. Burners, igniters, valves, elements and fans are often still in supply. Control boards are what can be scarce on older units, and we confirm availability before quoting.
