Electrolux range design and construction
Electrolux sells freestanding and slide-in ranges with gas, electric, dual-fuel and induction cooking, and recent models add an air-fry mode that runs through the convection fan. In the gas oven, a glow igniter must pass enough current to open the safety valve; an aging igniter still glows but falls short, and the oven lights late or never. Electric and dual-fuel ovens heat with bake, broil and convection elements managed by a sensor. Induction ranges add power boards and a cooling fan, and those electronics are the parts most exposed to a lightning surge. After years of self-clean cycles, door locks wear. Many parts are shared with Frigidaire's upper lines, which keeps sourcing easy.

Almost always the oven igniter. A worn one glows bright and still does not pass enough current to open the gas valve. Its current draw gets measured, it gets replaced if it is weak, and the valve is checked only if the oven still will not light.
No. Air frying is just the convection fan and its heating ring running hard. If the results have slipped, that fan motor and ring are tested before the sensor or the control board.
