Frigidaire Range Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Frigidaire has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your range is still under Frigidaire's factory warranty, start with Frigidaire. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Mostly electric kitchens
Electric and induction cooking outnumber gas around Tampa, though gas ranges exist. Tell us which you have and read us the tag behind the drawer.
Condo kitchens
Recirculating range hoods and induction tops are common in towers. Add the building's contractor hours and elevator rules to your notes.
Something mounted above?
If a microwave or hood hangs over the cooking surface, mention it. It changes the working room, and an over-the-range unit comes off its wall plate for most repairs.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.

02

Find the Fault

We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.

03

Your Go-Ahead

We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.

04

Fixed and Verified

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Frigidaire range design and construction

Frigidaire's front-control and slide-in ranges, Gallery and Professional included, sit their electronics right above the oven and pile on convection and air fry. With age, keypads and boards give out, and the probe, lower element, convection motor and gas igniter are the routine repairs. On induction models, the coil electronics depend on a cooling fan. When air fry stops browning, the fan and its element get tested before anything else. Electronics on these ranges are sensitive to surges, so a dead panel after a lightning storm is tested piece by piece. Moving a slide-in calls for care with the counters and the anti-tip bracket.

Common Frigidaire range failures

  • Touch panel not responding
  • Oven sensor failing
  • Convection fan failed
  • Oven igniter weak
  • Induction board failed

Faults that Frigidaire shares with other makers are on our main range repair guide. Visits run from St. Petersburg and Tampa up to Wesley Chapel and Spring Hill: check the service area list for your ZIP.

FAQ

Frigidaire Range Repair FAQ

A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.

Didn't see your question?

Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.

Normally, yes. The keypad and the board behind it are checked one at a time, so you only pay for the part that's actually bad, and we make sure it's still available first.

Usually a failed convection fan or element, or a probe that's reading wrong. All three get tested.
