Wolf Cooktop Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Wolf has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your cooktop is still under Wolf's factory warranty, start with Wolf. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Cooktop Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Tell us what fails to heat or light, and send the model number; codes and odd smells are worth mentioning.
Find the Fault
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Your Go-Ahead
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Fixed and Verified
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
Wolf cooktop design and construction
Several unrelated designs carry the Wolf cooktop label. Gas cooktops and rangetops share the dual-stacked sealed burners of the ranges, so their trouble is ignition and simmer. Induction models drive magnetic pans with copper coils below the glass, and their power boards are cooled by a small fan; a fan that's slowing, or a cabinet underneath with no air gap, makes zones back off under heavy use. Radiant electric models heat with ribbon elements protected by limiters. The 15-inch modules (grill, fryer, steamer, multi-function or burner units) each carry their own controls. A rangetop rests on a base cabinet with very little clearance below, so we locate the gas valve and work out how to reach the underside before any panel comes off.
Common Wolf cooktop failures
- Spark switch shorted by boil-over
- Simmer flame blowing out
- Induction zone ignoring pan
- Induction cooling fan slowing
- Glass top cracked or chipped
Problems that aren't peculiar to Wolf are explained on the cooktop repair page. Visits run from St. Petersburg and Tampa up to Wesley Chapel and Spring Hill: check the service area list for your ZIP.

Wolf Cooktop Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
The power electronics throttle themselves when they run hot. A weak fan, lint on its intake or a cabinet with no air gap underneath is usually behind it. We check those before calling a power board bad.
That depends on the model. On some the glass comes bonded to the frame, and on induction units the coils may be part of the same assembly. We find out exactly what the replacement contains, so the price reflects it and you can decide.
