Miele Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Miele is still run by its founding families from Gütersloh, Germany, and it engineers nearly every product in-house instead of rebadging someone else's. Those machines are meant to run for decades, so when one quits, the cause is usually a single pump, lock, sensor or board rather than a worn-out appliance. We are not part of Miele's service organization. If the maker's warranty still covers the unit, Miele should be your first call. Once it has lapsed, a technician comes out, finds the fault, explains it and quotes the repair before anything is replaced.
How a Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Describe what it's doing and when it started; the model number lets us check parts ahead of time.
Find the Fault
At your place the technician checks the unit and its outlet, water supply, drain or vent to find the fault.
Your Go-Ahead
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Fixed and Verified
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.

Which Miele Appliance Needs Work?
Reading a Miele before ordering anything
Miele model names are short (a W1 washer might read WWH860, a dishwasher G 7106), but the model alone rarely pins down a part. The serial number and the production code on the rating plate matter more, because Miele revises boards and pumps within a model run. On washers and dryers that plate sits inside the door rim; on dishwashers it runs along the edge of the door.
A clear phone photo of that plate, sent when you book, lets us check parts before the visit instead of after it.
Two filters on the T1 dryer
Most current Miele T1 dryers are heat pump machines with no outside vent. Moist air passes over a cold heat exchanger, the water condenses out and goes to a drawer or a drain hose. That is why they suit Channel District and Harbour Island condos where no vent can be cut through the wall.
The catch is upkeep. Besides the lint screen in the door opening, many models have a plinth filter behind a flap at the bottom front, and that sponge clogs quietly. Long run times and an airflow message nearly always start there, so we clean both filters before testing sensors or the compressor.
Storms, surges and the electronics
Miele machines lean heavily on electronics: the washer's dosing pumps, the dishwasher's sensors and the oven's display all report to control modules. A summer of afternoon thunderstorms in Tampa means plenty of lightning, and a surge on the incoming line can take out a power module while the rest of the machine is fine.
When a Miele goes dark after a storm, we check the outlet, the breaker and the incoming supply first, then the module. A plug-in surge protector, or a whole-house unit installed by an electrician, costs little next to a module for an appliance like this.
When the part comes only from Miele
A good share of Miele parts are sold only through Miele's own North American channel. Pumps, gaskets, filters and heating elements are normally easy to get. Electronic modules, TwinDos components and heat pump dryer parts can take longer, so we tell you the expected wait before you approve the order.
Miele appliance lines
- Refrigerators: MasterCool and other built-in columns plus freestanding units. Typical work: condenser airflow, fan motors, defrost faults, ice makers and heavy panel doors that sag out of adjustment.
- Washers: W1 front-loaders, 24 inches wide and often stacked, many with TwinDos dosing. We replace drain pumps, door locks, fill valves and dosing pumps, and deal with bearing noise.
- Dryers: T1 heat pump dryers plus older vented and condenser machines. Blocked plinth filters, airflow messages, condensate pump faults, belts and moisture sensors.
- Dishwashers: Built-in Miele dishwashers with the Waterproof leak system and, on newer models, AutoDos. Drain faults, heater failures, leak lockouts and tired door springs.
- Ovens: Wall ovens, combi-steam and steam ovens, and speed ovens. Convection fans, elements, temperature sensors, door locks after pyrolytic cleaning and mineral scale in steam systems.
- Microwaves: Built-in microwave ovens and speed ovens. Units that run without heating, failed door interlocks, dead touch panels and speed-oven convection faults.
- Freezers: Freezer columns and under-counter freezer drawers. Defrost heater and sensor failures, iced coils, fan noise and drawers that won't seal.
- Cooktops: Induction, gas and radiant electric cooktops. Overheating induction electronics, weak cooling fans, touch controls that lock out, flame-failure faults and cracked glass.
- Wine Coolers: Multi-zone built-in and under-counter wine storage. Zones drifting warm, failed circulation fans, hardened glass-door gaskets and sensor faults.
- Stoves: The Miele range as a daily stove: burners that click without lighting, flames that die when the knob is released, and an oven that won't hold its temperature.
- Ranges: Dual-fuel, all-gas and induction Miele ranges from 30 to 48 inches. Oven igniters, bake and convection elements, fans, sensors and griddle burners.
Miele parts and sourcing
Many Miele parts move only through Miele's North American parts operation. Common wear items such as drain pumps, door seals, filters and oven elements usually arrive without much delay. Electronic modules, dosing parts, heat pump components and steam oven assemblies can take longer. We read the model, serial and production code off the rating plate during our visit and tell you how long the part should take before we order it.
Miele visits are booked across Tampa and the wider Tampa Bay area; the list of areas and ZIP codes shows whether your street is covered.
Miele Repair FAQ
The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Not necessarily. Pull the plinth filter behind the flap at the bottom front and rinse it, along with the lint screen in the door. A packed plinth filter is behind most slow-drying complaints. If times stay long after both are clean, we check the heat exchanger, drain pump and sensors.
A float under the machine has found water, and the appliance has closed off its supply. The message tells you water is there, not where it came from. We find the leak, fix it, and dry out the base so the system resets.
Usually. A surge often damages one electronic module while the motor, pumps and drum are fine. We confirm power at the outlet and breaker, test the module and quote the repair. We'll tell you if the damage runs deeper than that.
No. We are an independent repair company with no Miele affiliation. If your appliance is still under Miele's warranty, contact Miele so the claim is covered. After that, we can diagnose it in your home.
