JennAir Refrigerator Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
JennAir has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your refrigerator is still under JennAir's factory warranty, start with JennAir. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Note the temperatures if you have a thermometer, any frost or puddles, and the model number from inside the door.
Find the Fault
We read coil and cabinet temperatures, check both fans and test the defrost parts before naming the fault.
Your Go-Ahead
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fixed and Verified
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
JennAir refrigerator design and construction
Underneath the styling, a JennAir built-in refrigerator cools with a Whirlpool-engineered system, but it's packed into a tall cabinet that sits flush with the cabinets, hangs heavy doors and panels, and on many models parks the compressor and condenser in a compartment at the top behind a grille. Heat rises into that space and dust follows, so in a warm Tampa kitchen the condenser gets cleaned on nearly every visit. Beyond that, we regularly find ice makers that stopped harvesting, inlet valves stuck open or shut, and evaporator fans locked in frost once defrost has failed. Temperatures are managed by thermistors and a main board, not a dial. Those big panels also pull hinges out of line, and a door that no longer seats lets damp air in, which shows as frost inside and water beading on the trim.
Common JennAir refrigerator failures
- Condenser dusty in top machine bay
- Ice maker stopped harvesting
- Water inlet valve stuck
- Evaporator fan locked in frost
- Hinge pulled out of line by panel weight

JennAir Refrigerator Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Pop off the top grille and look at the condenser; on many built-ins that's where it lives, and it collects lint and dust. Clean it the way the manual shows. If the compressor still never rests, we check fans, thermistors and the door seal.
The supply line, the inlet valve, the fill tube where it enters the freezer (it can freeze shut), and the ice maker module itself. An overdue water filter or weak household pressure can also leave the mold half-filled.
