Thor Kitchen Refrigerator Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Thor Kitchen has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your refrigerator is still under Thor Kitchen's factory warranty, start with Thor Kitchen. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
Note the temperatures if you have a thermometer, any frost or puddles, and the model number from inside the door.
Diagnosis at Home
We read coil and cabinet temperatures, check both fans and test the defrost parts before naming the fault.
Quote Before Work
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Repair and Test
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
Thor Kitchen refrigerator design and construction
Most Thor refrigerators are French-door or panel-ready built-ins with the freezer on the bottom, automatic defrost and, often, an ice maker. If the top section warms while the freezer stays cold, think airflow: the evaporator has iced over because a defrost heater, sensor or control failed, or the fan that pushes cold air up to the fresh-food side has stalled. Sealed-system leaks happen, but they sit further down the list. When the ice maker stops, the inlet valve, a frozen fill tube or the ice maker module itself are the usual suspects. A heavy panel door that has dropped, or one left open a crack, lets humid kitchen air in and speeds up frost. Thor refrigeration parts aren't on every distributor's shelf, so availability is checked early.
Common Thor Kitchen refrigerator failures
- Fresh-food side warm from a defrost fault
- Evaporator fan stopped
- Ice maker not producing
- Panel door sagging
- Water leaking from a blocked drain

Thor Kitchen Refrigerator Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Usually frost has packed the evaporator and blocked the air that feeds the fresh-food side, or the fan that pushes it has stopped. Defrost parts and fans are tested before the sealed system.
That varies by part. Common items may be sitting at a distributor, while boards and some sealed-system components ship from Thor. We check at the diagnosis and give you an estimate before you approve.
