Thermador Stove Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Thermador has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your stove is still under Thermador's factory warranty, start with Thermador. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Thermador stove design and construction
Used every day as a stove, a Thermador range mostly throws small faults. The star burner's points each carry ports, so a single clog shows as a missing flame point, and caps have to sit flat to spread fire evenly. Igniters sit close to the burner and crack when a heavy pot lands on them. ExtraLow relighting during simmer is normal. A boil-over can wet a spark switch and keep every igniter clicking. Below, the oven drifts with an aging sensor, and repeated self-clean cycles wear the door lock. We clean and reseat each burner, light it at every setting and check oven temperature before quoting parts.
Common Thermador stove failures
- Star burner port clogged
- Igniter cracked
- Spark switch shorted by spill
- Oven baking off setting
- Door lock worn by self-clean
Problems that aren't peculiar to Thermador are explained on the stove repair page. Visits run from St. Petersburg and Tampa up to Wesley Chapel and Spring Hill: check the service area list for your ZIP.

Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Clicking with no flame suggests a cracked igniter or blocked ports. No clicking at that one burner points to the igniter or its wire. We test the spark, clear the ports and confirm gas is reaching the burner.
On ExtraLow burners, yes; cycling the flame is how they hold a gentle simmer. On a standard burner, a flame that drops out and relights usually means clogged ports or a draft from a fan or open window, and we check both.
