Smeg Stove Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Smeg has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your stove is still under Smeg's factory warranty, start with Smeg. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Smeg stove design and construction
Most Smeg ranges have a gas top, with a thermocouple and a spark electrode at every burner. Three complaints dominate: a burner that won't stay lit after you let go of the knob, igniters that keep ticking, and a flame that leans hard to one side. That last one is almost always mechanical, a cap set down off center or burner ports glazed over by a boil-over. Both the retro-styled Victoria line and the Portofino line use this layout, but their burners and parts are not interchangeable. Thermocouples and electrodes are tiny parts made for a specific burner, so they get ordered from the model and serial number rather than matched by eye. Smell gas? Turn the knobs off, get out and call 911 or your gas company from outside.
