JennAir Stove Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

JennAir has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your stove is still under JennAir's factory warranty, start with JennAir. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Lightning and surges
A nearby strike can take out a control board while the elements are fine. If the failure followed a storm, say so in your booking.
Hard-to-light burners
Boil-overs and humid air keep igniters damp and clicking. Dry the burner caps fully before booking; if it still won't light, we'll test the switch and igniter.
Self-clean trouble
A self-clean cycle can blow a thermal fuse or lock the door. If the oven died right after one, say so; it narrows the fault.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.
Condos & gated communities
High-rises Downtown or on Bayshore, HOA gates in Westchase or New Tampa: put the gate code, elevator rules or guest parking spot in your notes.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Tell us what fails to heat or light, and send the model number; codes and odd smells are worth mentioning.

02

Find the Fault

The technician checks heat sources, sensors and switches, and confirms the power or gas reaching the unit.

03

Your Go-Ahead

We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.

04

Fixed and Verified

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

JennAir stove design and construction

Ask a Tampa homeowner about their JennAir stove and it usually turns out to be a range: freestanding or slide-in, gas, electric or dual-fuel, or in a kitchen from the 1980s and '90s, one of the downdraft models the brand was known for. Those downdraft ranges put the vent in the cooktop and the blower inside the cabinet base, with ducting that exits through the floor or the back wall. Moving one means unhooking the duct as well as the power cord and any gas line. The oven's typical faults depend on fuel: glow-bar igniters on gas, elements on electric, and probes and boards on either. Burner faults depend on the surface. We check the anti-tip bracket on every pull-out, and leak-test the gas fitting before it goes back.

Common JennAir stove failures

  • Gas oven igniter weak
  • Bake element burned out
  • Downdraft blower failing
  • Oven probe out of range
  • Surface igniter clicking constantly

FAQ

JennAir Stove Repair FAQ

The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.

Not necessarily. Wash the filter, then have the blower and duct checked. A long run coated with old grease can choke airflow even when the motor is perfectly healthy.

Often, if parts can still be had. Some components for early models are discontinued, so we check availability against your model number before recommending anything.
