DCS stove repair
DCS Stove Repair in Tampa
In-home service for DCS stoves in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and the surrounding Tampa Bay communities. For DCS, a stove call nearly always means the freestanding pro range: burners that won't light, an oven slow to heat or a scorched door gasket.
Booking online? The DCS stove's model tag in the notes helps us line up the right part.
Tell us the appliance and your area, then how to reach you, and we'll follow up to arrange the visit.
DCS Stove Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
DCS has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your stove is still under DCS's factory warranty, start with DCS. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Diagnosis at Home
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
DCS stove design and construction
To most owners, a DCS stove simply means the pro-style range in the kitchen, and our first move is to treat the cooktop and the oven as separate problems. Burners lighting fine while the oven stays dark tells us gas and electricity are both arriving, which shifts suspicion to oven ignition, the oven safety valve and the control that is supposed to start them. When nothing lights at all, the spark circuit's power and the gas shutoff behind the range come first. If the outage hit while the oven was on, try the breaker before booking. Getting a DCS away from the wall is a two-person job, and the flex gas connector needs gentle handling.
Common DCS stove failures
- Oven dark, burners fine
- Burners tick but won't light
- Oven temperature off
- Door gasket scorched
- Knob switch fouled by spills

Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Oven ignition. Working burners prove the range has gas and power, so the suspects are the oven igniter, the oven safety valve and the control calling for heat. We test them in turn instead of replacing all three.
Sometimes. Igniters and burners come out from the top, and most oven parts can be reached with the door open. Valve, wiring and gas-connection work may need it moved forward. We protect the floor and leak-test the gas connection when it goes back.
