LG Stove Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
LG has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your stove is still under LG's factory warranty, start with LG. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
Tell us what fails to heat or light, and send the model number; codes and odd smells are worth mentioning.
Diagnosis at Home
The technician checks heat sources, sensors and switches, and confirms the power or gas reaching the unit.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
LG stove design and construction
Plain freestanding LG stoves show up in rental homes, condos and student housing near USF: gas or electric on top, one oven below, knobs rather than touch panels. In the gas oven, a hot-surface igniter has to pass enough current to open the safety valve, and a worn one glows without the burner catching. That is the oven repair we do most on these stoves. Electric versions have coil or smooth-top elements and a bake element that is often hidden under the oven floor. Surface burners that click and won't light usually have water or crumbs at the igniter. Where an LG gas stove is hooked up, we check the flexible connector and shutoff and leak-test anything we disconnect.
Common LG stove failures
- Bake igniter glows, oven won't light
- Surface igniter clicking constantly
- Hidden bake element failed
- Oven sensor reading off
- Infinite switch burned out

LG Stove Repair FAQ
The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Usually the bake element, which on many LG stoves sits hidden under the oven floor, or the sensor or relay that controls it. We test the element and the control's output before ordering a part.
The infinite switch for that burner has likely failed in the on position. It controls how often the element cycles. Replacing the switch is a routine repair.
