Bosch Dryer Repair in Tampa
In-home service for Bosch dryers in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and the surrounding Tampa Bay communities. Compact condensation and heat-pump dryers, often stacked on the matching washer in a closet. Lint-clogged condensers, condensate pumps, drain hoses, sensors and belts cause most calls.

Bosch Dryer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Bosch has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dryer is still under Bosch's factory warranty, start with Bosch. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Tell us whether it spins without heat, takes two cycles, or stops early, and whether it's gas or electric.
Find the Fault
We measure airflow through the vent, test the heat circuit and safety fuses, and check belt and rollers.
Your Go-Ahead
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Fixed and Verified
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
Bosch dryer design and construction
Most Bosch dryers we see are 24-inch ventless units. In a condensation dryer, the damp air passes through a heat exchanger where its moisture drops out as water, which goes to a tank or down a drain hose; a heat-pump model does the job with a small refrigeration circuit and lower temperatures. That makes them right for condos where an exterior vent isn't allowed, but lint that slips past the screen coats the condenser and drying slows. Some models clean the condenser automatically; others have one you remove and rinse. A failed condensate pump or a clogged drain hose stops the cycle. These dryers are slower than vented ones by design and also pull heat from the room, so a dryer in a small closet with the door shut can struggle. We compare to the expected cycle time before calling it a fault.
Common Bosch dryer failures
- Condenser coated in lint
- Condensate pump not running
- Drain hose blocked, tank-full warning
- Drum belt snapped
- Moisture sensor coated, cycles ending early
Problems that aren't peculiar to Bosch are explained on the dryer repair page. Our Tampa Bay service areas page shows where Bosch visits are booked.

Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Ventless models always run longer than vented ones. If yours has gotten slower than it used to be, clear the lint screen and rinse the condenser if it's the removable kind, and leave the closet door open. Still slow? We check the heat source and the condensate path.
Yes, that's what it's built for. The water it pulls out of the clothes either collects in a removable tank or is pumped away to a drain. Give it the clearance listed in the installation guide so the room air can circulate.
