Bosch Washer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Bosch has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your washer is still under Bosch's factory warranty, start with Bosch. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Upstairs laundry
In a two-story home a leaking washer shows up on the ceiling below. Close the supply valves and keep the door shut; we can drain it on site.
Garage laundry
With no basements here, many washers sit in an attached garage, often on a sloped slab. Tell us how we get into the garage.
Dishwashers that won't dry
In a muggy kitchen, plastic dishes stay wet. Check that the rinse-aid dispenser is full before booking; if the heater is out, we'll find it.
Condos & gated communities
High-rises Downtown or on Bayshore, HOA gates in Westchase or New Tampa: put the gate code, elevator rules or guest parking spot in your notes.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.

How a Washer Repair Visit Works

01

Describe the Problem

The brand, the model tag, and what happens: no fill, no drain, a leak, a smell or a code.

02

Diagnosis at Home

We test the pump, valves and door or lid lock, and look at the drain line and supply hoses too.

03

Quote Before Work

We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.

04

Repair and Test

After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.

Bosch washer design and construction

The 24-inch Bosch compact washer is what makes in-unit laundry possible in many Tampa condos and townhomes. A regular 120-volt outlet runs it, and it slips into spaces no full-size machine could. Its small drum punishes overloading, which shows up in the bearings and shocks, and the call we get most is a pump stopped by a coin, a hair tie or a bra underwire. Behind a little flap at the bottom front is a screw-out pump filter, and emptying it fixes a lot of no-drain complaints. Door locks and door boots wear too, and in humid air a boot that stays wet grows mildew quickly. Propping the door and the soap drawer open after washing does more good than any cleaning tablet. The older full-size Nexxt and Vision washers were built differently, and certain boards for them are now scarce.

Common Bosch washer failures

  • Pump filter clogged, water left in the drum
  • Door lock not engaging
  • Drum bearings roaring on spin
  • Door boot torn or mildewed
  • Control board failing on older Nexxt units

FAQ

Bosch Washer Repair FAQ

Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.

Didn't see your question?

Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.

Often. Lay down towels and a baking pan, open the flap at the lower front, and turn the filter out slowly to let the water run off. Make sure the hose behind isn't pinched. If the drum still holds water after that, we test the pump and the wiring to it.

Damp lint trapped in the rubber boot and the pump filter is the usual source. Dry the boot fold, empty the filter, run the tub-clean program on hot, and let the machine air out after each wash. If it persists, we look for a slow drain or a clogged hose.
