Smeg Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Smeg has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under Smeg's factory warranty, start with Smeg. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.
In-Home Testing
The technician runs the failing step, checks the pump, sensors and lock, and inspects the hoses and drain.
A Price You Approve
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fix and Check
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
Smeg dishwasher design and construction
A Smeg dishwasher expects to be maintained the European way. Its filter, a nest of mesh and cylinder pieces in the floor of the tub, comes out for rinsing by hand, and when it's ignored the wash gets worse and the water drains slowly. That is the first thing we check. Many models also protect the floor with an anti-flood system: a float in the base pan rises if water collects there, stops the cycle and usually kicks on the drain pump. When the machine halts with a flood code, there's a genuine leak somewhere inside. Fully integrated models hang a heavy cabinet panel on the door, and the hinge springs gradually give in. Fill valves, drain pumps and heating elements make up most of the rest, and scale building on the element does it no favors.
Common Smeg dishwasher failures
- Filter clogged, slow drain
- Anti-flood float tripped by a leak
- Drain pump failing
- Door spring worn under panel weight
- Heating element not warming water

Smeg Dishwasher Repair FAQ
What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
That pattern means the anti-flood float has detected water in the base pan. We trace the leak, repair it, and dry the pan so the float can reset.
Follow the manual for your model; many call for regular cleaning. A dirty filter is one of the most common reasons for poor results and slow draining.
