LG Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
LG has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under LG's factory warranty, start with LG. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fixed and Verified
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
LG dishwasher design and construction
LG dishwashers run a direct-drive wash motor, and QuadWash models add spray arms that rotate in more than one direction. Codes are informative: AE or E1 means water in the base pan, OE a drain problem, IE a fill problem, HE the heater circuit, LE the wash motor. A leak code always gets traced, since the cause can be a door gasket, too much detergent foam, or a fitting under the tub. A slow drain usually starts with a dirty filter, then a kinked hose, or a new disposal whose knockout plug was never removed. TrueSteam models add a steam generator to check. Tampa's water leaves mineral film on the heater and in spray arm jets over time, and a rinse aid plus a regular cleaner cycle slows it.
Common LG dishwasher failures
- Leak sensor tripped (AE/E1)
- Filter or drain pump clogged (OE)
- Inlet valve not filling (IE)
- Heater circuit fault (HE)
- Spray arm jets scaled or blocked

LG Dishwasher Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Very possibly. A new garbage disposal has a knockout plug in its dishwasher inlet that has to be punched out. If it wasn't, the dishwasher can't drain. That's a quick fix, and it's worth checking before suspecting the pump.
Water reached the leak sensor in the base. Foam from regular dish soap or too much detergent is a common cause; so is a leaking door seal or fitting. We dry the pan and find the source rather than resetting the code.
