Electrolux Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Electrolux has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under Electrolux's factory warranty, start with Electrolux. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Garage laundry
With no basements here, many washers sit in an attached garage, often on a sloped slab. Tell us how we get into the garage.
Dishwashers that won't dry
In a muggy kitchen, plastic dishes stay wet. Check that the rinse-aid dispenser is full before booking; if the heater is out, we'll find it.
Upstairs laundry
In a two-story home a leaking washer shows up on the ceiling below. Close the supply valves and keep the door shut; we can drain it on site.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.
Condos & gated communities
High-rises Downtown or on Bayshore, HOA gates in Westchase or New Tampa: put the gate code, elevator rules or guest parking spot in your notes.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.

02

In-Home Testing

We test the pump, valves and door or lid lock, and look at the drain line and supply hoses too.

03

A Price You Approve

We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.

04

Fix and Check

We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.

Electrolux dishwasher design and construction

Mechanically, an Electrolux dishwasher has a lot in common with Frigidaire's better models. Under the tub sit two motors, one to circulate wash water and one to pump it out. A filter assembly catches food at the bottom, a heater warms the water, and a float rises to cut off the fill if the level climbs too high. Most of the faults we see start on the drain side: debris at the pump, a filter nobody has cleaned, or, on a new install, the knockout in the disposer inlet that the installer forgot to punch out. When the latch wears, the control never gets permission to start. A slow leak that reaches the control board can take it out too. Everything on the drain side is cleared and tested before we recommend a board or a motor.

Common Electrolux dishwasher failures

  • Drain pump blocked with debris
  • Filter clogged under the lower arm
  • Float switch stuck up
  • Door latch not engaging
  • Wash motor not starting

FAQ

Electrolux Dishwasher Repair FAQ

Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.

Didn't see your question?

Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.

Start with the filter under the lower arm: twist it out and rinse it. Check the hose behind the machine for a kink, and if it drains into a disposer, run the disposer for a few seconds. Still holding water? Then the drain pump or its impeller is probably blocked, and we clear or replace it.

Before any cycle begins, the latch must tell the control the door is shut. A worn latch or switch lets the panel light up but keeps the cycle from starting. The latch and switch are checked first, then the control.
