Samsung Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Samsung has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under Samsung's factory warranty, start with Samsung. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Musty front-loaders
Humid air and low-water cycles keep the door boot damp. A smell or black spots usually point to the gasket and the drain filter together.
Hoses in the heat
Rubber fill hoses age fast in a hot garage. If yours bulge or crack at the ends, mention it so we bring braided replacements.
Hard water
Mineral scale collects in fill valves and spray arms. White film on dishes or a slow fill is worth noting in your booking.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.

02

In-Home Testing

The technician runs the failing step, checks the pump, sensors and lock, and inspects the hoses and drain.

03

A Price You Approve

You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

04

Fix and Check

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Samsung dishwasher design and construction

Samsung dishwashers have a float or sensor in the base pan, and once water gets there the machine halts, displays LC and often keeps pumping out. The water can come from the door gasket, the sump, a spray arm seal, an inlet fitting or plain oversudsing, so we trace the leak rather than dry the sensor and leave. WaterWall models use a spray bar that slides along the rear wall, and a dropped spoon or a worn drive part can stop it mid-track. Many Samsung dishwashers also have a weak spot at the door hinges, where the springs or cables give out and the door drops open hard. Wet, cold dishes at the end point to the heater or its thermistor. Mineral scale from hard tap water slowly coats the spray holes and the heater, and a filter cleaned every few weeks prevents a lot of slow-drain complaints.

Common Samsung dishwasher failures

  • Leak sensor tripped (LC) by a seal leak
  • Door hinge cable or spring snapped
  • WaterWall spray bar stuck in place
  • Drain pump or filter clogged
  • Heater or thermistor fault, dishes stay wet

Problems that aren't peculiar to Samsung are explained on the dishwasher repair page. Not sure we reach your street? The Tampa-area service map lists every ZIP code.

Samsung Dishwasher Repair FAQ

The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.

Its base pan is wet and the leak float has lifted. Turn the machine off and check the floor at the front. Oversudsing from the wrong detergent can do it; so can a failing seal. After the pan dries we track the water to its source and repair it.

Yes. Each side has a hinge spring and a cable, and both are replaceable parts. We replace them in pairs when the second side shows wear, because it usually isn't far behind.
