JennAir Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
JennAir has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under JennAir's factory warranty, start with JennAir. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.
In-Home Testing
We test the pump, valves and door or lid lock, and look at the drain line and supply hoses too.
A Price You Approve
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fix and Check
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
JennAir dishwasher design and construction
A JennAir dishwasher shares its bones with KitchenAid and Whirlpool machines, so its pumps, valves and spray system hold few surprises and parts are generally easy to find. Where it differs is the door. Many carry a custom wood panel, and the springs on either side have to match that extra weight; when one snaps or was never sized correctly, the door either flops down or slams up. These machines also rely on a filter you're meant to twist out and rinse by hand. Skip that for a few months and wash quality falls off while water lingers in the sump. Draining complaints otherwise trace to the disposal inlet or a hose kinked behind the cabinet. A displayed code narrows things down, though it usually names the symptom, not the failed part.
Common JennAir dishwasher failures
- Hand-clean filter clogged
- Drain pump failed
- Fill valve not opening
- Door spring snapped or undersized
- Heating element or thermistor fault
Faults that JennAir shares with other makers are on our main dishwasher repair guide. Our Tampa Bay service areas page shows where JennAir visits are booked.

JennAir Dishwasher Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Either a spring has broken or the springs were never matched to the weight of your panel. Fitting the correct springs, or adjusting them, gets the door to hold wherever you let go of it.
Twist out the filter in the floor of the tub and rinse it under the tap; it's meant to be cleaned by hand. Spin the spray arms to make sure they turn freely. If results don't improve, the wash pump and the fill amount get tested.
