Roper Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Roper has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under Roper's factory warranty, start with Roper. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Hoses in the heat
Rubber fill hoses age fast in a hot garage. If yours bulge or crack at the ends, mention it so we bring braided replacements.
Hard water
Mineral scale collects in fill valves and spray arms. White film on dishes or a slow fill is worth noting in your booking.
Musty front-loaders
Humid air and low-water cycles keep the door boot damp. A smell or black spots usually point to the gasket and the drain filter together.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Describe the Problem

Tell us the cycle it fails on and any error code; a photo of the model plate saves time.

02

Diagnosis at Home

The technician runs the failing step, checks the pump, sensors and lock, and inspects the hoses and drain.

03

Quote Before Work

You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

04

Repair and Test

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Inside a Roper dishwasher

Inside, a Roper dishwasher is plain Whirlpool engineering. Recent models depend on a removable filter beneath the bottom rack that the owner is expected to rinse; skip that and you get gritty dishes and water left in the tub. Once the filter is ruled out, the usual parts are the drain pump, fill valve, door latch and heating element, all reasonable repairs on an inexpensive machine. Where the math flips is a failed control board or a cracked, leaking tub on an older unit. Hard-water deposits can also crust the spray arms and the inlet screen over the years. We clean the filter and sump as part of the diagnosis, because a clogged filter mimics a dead pump perfectly.

Common Roper dishwasher failures

  • Water left in the tub from a packed filter
  • Drain pump humming without draining
  • Inlet valve not filling
  • Door latch not catching
  • Heating element out, dishes still wet

FAQ

Roper Dishwasher Repair FAQ

What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.

A clogged filter is the most frequent cause, then a kinked drain hose or a failed drain pump. We clean the filter and test the pump.

Drain pumps, fill valves and latches usually are. A dead control board or a leaking tub on an aging machine often isn't, and we'll tell you which you have.
