Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Fisher & Paykel has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dishwasher is still under Fisher & Paykel's factory warranty, start with Fisher & Paykel. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Tell us the cycle it fails on and any error code; a photo of the model plate saves time.
In-Home Testing
We test the pump, valves and door or lid lock, and look at the drain line and supply hoses too.
A Price You Approve
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Fix and Check
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
Fisher & Paykel dishwasher design and construction
Think of each DishDrawer as a complete small dishwasher: pumps for washing and draining, a heater and a control board, all inside one sliding tub. Pressing start sends a motor-driven lid down onto the rim, and most leaks and poor results trace back to that lid's gasket once it splits, stiffens or rides out of its groove. Because the tub slides out every time someone loads it, the hose and harness behind it bend over and over until they chafe or crack. A mesh filter sits in the floor of every drawer. Left uncleaned, it packs with food and the drawer flags a draining error, which sends people shopping for a pump they don't need. Tall utensils standing upright can also stop the lid from seating.
Common Fisher & Paykel dishwasher failures
- Lid gasket split or out of its groove
- Floor filter packed, drain error
- Lid drive motor not lowering
- Hose or harness chafed from sliding
- Wash pump motor failed

Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Nine times out of ten it's getting past the lid gasket, either because the gasket is damaged or because something tall kept the lid from seating. We inspect the gasket and the lid drive, and check the hose behind the drawer while it's open.
Pull out and rinse the filter in the floor of the drawer before assuming that. Broken glass, seeds and paper labels clog it, and the control reads the result as a drain failure. When the filter is clean and it still won't empty, we test the pump and the line under the sink.
