Samsung Dryer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Samsung has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dryer is still under Samsung's factory warranty, start with Samsung. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Samsung dryer design and construction
Behind the touch panel, a Samsung dryer is a fairly plain machine. On the electric versions, the heater coil lives in a metal channel at the rear, guarded by a one-time thermal fuse and a high-limit thermostat; starve it of airflow and the fuse opens, leaving a drum that tumbles cold. Gas models use an igniter and a gas valve with solenoid coils, and coils that weaken give heat at the start of a cycle and none after a few minutes. Some models display HE when the temperature doesn't rise as expected, which tells you the heat circuit is involved but not which part. Squeaks and thumps nearly always come from drum rollers or the idler pulley. A dryer in a Tampa garage often vents through a wall or the roof, and a long run in summer heat traps lint and holds heat at the element, so we look at the vent on every no-heat call.
Common Samsung dryer failures
- Thermal fuse open after a vent restriction
- Heating element coil broken
- Gas valve coils weak, flame drops out
- Drum rollers or idler pulley squealing
- Moisture sensor ending cycles too soon

The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
It means the dryer expected the temperature to climb and it didn't. That can be the heater, a fuse, a thermostat or simply a choked vent. We check airflow at the outside hood first, then measure each part of the heat circuit before replacing anything.
A fuse that keeps opening is telling you the air can't get out. Look for a flattened foil hose behind the machine, a vent that runs a long way through the attic, or a hood outside clogged with lint. A new fuse won't last until the restriction is cleared, and we show you where it is.
