LG Dryer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
LG has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your dryer is still under LG's factory warranty, start with LG. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Tell us whether it spins without heat, takes two cycles, or stops early, and whether it's gas or electric.
In-Home Testing
We measure airflow through the vent, test the heat circuit and safety fuses, and check belt and rollers.
A Price You Approve
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Fix and Check
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
LG dryer design and construction
Many LG dryers measure their own exhaust airflow, and models with Flow Sense show d80, d90 or d95 as the vent gets progressively more blocked. Take those warnings seriously. Restricted airflow drives the heater housing hotter until the thermal fuse opens and the dryer runs cold. Electric models have the element in a housing at the back with a high-limit thermostat; gas models use an igniter and valve coils. tE1 and tE2 point at the thermistors that read temperature. Most thumping and squeaking comes from drum rollers. LG dryers in Tampa garages often vent through long runs to the roof or a side wall, and lint plus summer heat makes those runs the most likely reason a dryer takes two cycles to finish a load.
Common LG dryer failures
- Flow Sense warnings (d80/d90/d95)
- Thermal fuse open from overheating
- Heater element burned open
- Thermistor fault (tE1/tE2)
- Drum rollers worn and thumping

LG Dryer Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
No, it's telling you the exhaust is significantly blocked. Clean the lint screen, check the hose behind the dryer for kinks, and look at the outside vent hood. If the warning stays after that, the duct run itself needs cleaning, which we can check.
On electric models it's often a blown thermal fuse or a failed element; on gas models, an igniter or valve coils. A fuse that blew usually did so because of a blocked vent, so we fix the airflow as well as the part.
