Gaggenau Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Gaggenau has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Gaggenau's factory warranty, start with Gaggenau. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Diagnosis at Home
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
Gaggenau oven design and construction
Wall ovens from Gaggenau come in the 400 and 200 series, and a single column often stacks a conventional oven, a combi-steam oven and sometimes a speed oven. All of them protect their electronics with a fan that keeps blowing for a while after cooking ends. If that fan stops, heat soaks the control and errors follow. Pyrolytic models also use a motor-driven door lock. The combi-steam ovens take water from a tank or a direct line, send it through a pump into a steam generator, and expect regular descaling; Tampa tap water leaves enough mineral behind that skipping it eventually kills the steam. Beyond that, the usual findings are open heating elements, a bad cavity sensor or meat probe, and worn hinges on the big side-swing doors of the 400 series.
Common Gaggenau oven failures
- Electronics fan failed, control overheating
- Steam generator choked with scale
- Door lock motor fault
- Heating element open
- Cavity sensor or meat probe fault

Gaggenau Oven Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Better not. Descaling keeps mineral out of the pump and steam generator. Use the descaler and steps in the manual. If steam still doesn't come afterward, the pump or generator may be due for replacement.
Yes, each oven is a separate unit. Plenty of repairs are done with the door open or the interior liners off. When one has to slide out of the cabinetry, it comes out slowly so nothing above or below gets scratched.
