Thor Kitchen Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Thor Kitchen has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Thor Kitchen's factory warranty, start with Thor Kitchen. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
In-Home Testing
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
A Price You Approve
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fix and Check
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
Thor Kitchen oven design and construction
Whether a Thor oven is gas or electric decides where we start. Electric cavities heat with a bake element under the floor and a broil element on top, governed by a temperature probe; when one element dies the other may still limp along, so the complaint is often that preheating takes forever. Gas cavities depend on an igniter that has to get hot enough before the valve lets gas through, and a tired igniter means long delays or no flame at all. Many models add a convection fan at the back wall whose motor bearings eventually wear and growl. The doors are thick and heavy; once the hinges loosen, the door stops sealing on one side and the knob panel above runs warm. On models with electronic controls, a failure during a lightning-heavy afternoon gets the board and its supply checked early.
Common Thor Kitchen oven failures
- Convection fan grinding
- Bake element burned out
- Gas oven slow to light or not lighting
- Temperature sensor drifting
- Heavy door hinges loose

Thor Kitchen Oven Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
On gas models, a weakening igniter often causes slow lighting. On electric models, a dead bake element leaves the broil element doing all the work. We test both before ordering anything.
Usually worn motor bearings or a blade rubbing on something. The fan motor can be replaced without replacing the oven.
