Fisher & Paykel Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Fisher & Paykel has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Fisher & Paykel's factory warranty, start with Fisher & Paykel. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Fisher & Paykel oven design and construction
Most Fisher & Paykel wall ovens offer pyrolytic cleaning, which means taking an empty cavity far hotter than any recipe needs, with a motorized latch holding the door the whole time. It is the most punishing thing the oven ever does. Elements give out, the latch motor or its position switch sticks, and the fan that keeps the electronics from overheating can quit, usually during that cycle or the next bake after it. The cavity sensor is another common casualty. Combi-steam versions add a water tank, pump and steam generator, and hard Tampa tap water leaves scale in all of them if the descale prompt gets ignored. When an oven shows an error and won't heat, the control's stored history comes first and parts come second.
Common Fisher & Paykel oven failures
- Door latch stuck after pyrolytic cycle
- Electronics cooling fan stopped
- Bake or fan element open
- Cavity temperature sensor fault
- Steam pump or generator scaled
Problems that aren't peculiar to Fisher & Paykel are explained on the oven repair page. Not sure we reach your street? The Tampa-area service map lists every ZIP code.

Fisher & Paykel Oven Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Give it time to cool completely, then switch the oven's breaker off for a minute and back on. Often that frees it. A door that still won't release usually means the latch motor or switch has failed, and we can replace it without prying the door.
When the oven prompts you, using the method in the manual. Hard tap water speeds up scale, so using the water type the manual suggests helps. If steam stays weak after descaling, the pump or generator may need replacing.
