Avanti Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Avanti has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Avanti's factory warranty, start with Avanti. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Diagnosis at Home
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Quote Before Work
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Repair and Test
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
Inside an Avanti oven
Avanti apartment-range ovens are small and parts-light. Gas versions use a hot-surface igniter, and the oven valve only opens once that igniter pulls enough current, so an old one can glow orange for minutes and never light the burner. Several models hold temperature with a mechanical thermostat and a capillary bulb instead of a control board; a bulb that slipped out of its clips can make an oven lag or overshoot. Electric versions have exposed elements that bubble and split before they fail. Rental use is hard on hinges and door seals, and the heat that escapes around a loose door shows up as one side of the pan browning first.
Common Avanti oven failures
- Igniter glows, valve stays shut
- Bake element bubbled and split
- Capillary bulb out of its clips
- Door seal gapping
- Broil element dead
Problems that aren't peculiar to Avanti are explained on the oven repair page. Visits run from St. Petersburg and Tampa up to Wesley Chapel and Spring Hill: check the service area list for your ZIP.

Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
That's how an aging igniter behaves. It still glows, but its draw has dropped below what the valve needs to open. We put an ammeter on it, and if the reading is low, the igniter is replaced. The valve is rarely to blame.
In a cavity this size, air doesn't even out much, so a sagging seal, a weak section of element or a displaced bulb shows up fast. We check those and log the real temperature with a thermometer before naming a part.
