AGA Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
AGA has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under AGA's factory warranty, start with AGA. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Find the Fault
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Your Go-Ahead
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fixed and Verified
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
AGA oven design and construction
A traditional AGA has no oven dials. Each oven is a cast-iron box sitting a set distance from a single heat source, so each one settles at its own temperature. When all of them run cool together, the problem is upstream, in the burner, elements or thermostat feeding the whole cooker. Controllable electric models give each oven its own element and switching, so a single cold oven usually points to one element or relay. The doors are heavy and swing on pins and catches that wear loose over years. AGA range cookers are a different machine: fan ovens with a ring element and motor behind the back panel, controlled by a thermostat or an electronic board.
Common AGA oven failures
- All ovens cooler than usual
- Single-oven element failed
- Main thermostat drifted
- Door catch or hinge pin loose
- Fan oven motor rattling
Faults that AGA shares with other makers are on our main oven repair guide. Our Tampa Bay service areas page shows where AGA visits are booked.

AGA Oven Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
On models that heat each oven separately, a lone cold oven typically means its element or the relay supplying it has failed. We test that oven's circuit first.
No; they track the cooker's overall heat level. If they've drifted, the thermostat or heat source may need adjustment or repair, which we verify with a thermometer and a meter.
