Electrolux Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Electrolux has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Electrolux's factory warranty, start with Electrolux. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Something mounted above?
If a microwave or hood hangs over the cooking surface, mention it. It changes the working room, and an over-the-range unit comes off its wall plate for most repairs.
Mostly electric kitchens
Electric and induction cooking outnumber gas around Tampa, though gas ranges exist. Tell us which you have and read us the tag behind the drawer.
Condo kitchens
Recirculating range hoods and induction tops are common in towers. Add the building's contractor hours and elevator rules to your notes.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.

How an Oven Repair Visit Works

01

Describe the Problem

Which burner, element or oven function fails, any code on the display, and whether it's gas, electric or induction.

02

Diagnosis at Home

We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.

03

Quote Before Work

You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

04

Repair and Test

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Electrolux oven design and construction

Electrolux makes single wall ovens, doubles and combination units with a microwave stacked above the oven. Inside, a concealed bake element sits under the floor, a broil element runs across the ceiling, and a convection fan at the back has its own ring element; an electronic control reads a temperature probe and switches all of it. A convection problem shows up as lopsided baking or a preheat that drags on. Door locks and self-clean faults become common as the oven ages, and a stuck lock can keep the door shut or the oven cold. In a combination unit, the microwave half brings its own interlock switches and magnetron. Every element and the fan get measured, and the cavity temperature gets verified with a separate thermometer.

Common Electrolux oven failures

  • Convection fan motor failing
  • Bake element burned out
  • Temperature sensor drifting
  • Door lock stuck after self-clean
  • Control board relay failing

Problems that aren't peculiar to Electrolux are explained on the oven repair page. Visits run from St. Petersburg and Tampa up to Wesley Chapel and Spring Hill: check the service area list for your ZIP.

FAQ

Electrolux Oven Repair FAQ

A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.

Didn't see your question?

Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.

Usually one of the heating elements is weak or open, either the bake element or the convection ring. A temperature probe that reads wrong can also mislead the control. Each element and the sensor are tested before a part is chosen.

Yes. The two halves run as separate appliances inside one frame, so the microwave's interlock switches, magnetron and control can be tested and repaired while the oven below keeps working.
