Gaggenau Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Gaggenau sits at the top of the BSH Hausgeräte family, designed in Germany and sold here through specialist dealers. We're an independent shop with no BSH connection and no Gaggenau authorization, so anything still covered by the maker's warranty belongs with Gaggenau's service network first. Once coverage has run out, we come to the house, track down the fault, walk you through it and price the work before a single screw comes out.
How a Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model tag if you can find it, and what you're seeing or hearing. Codes help too.
Diagnosis at Home
We test the likely parts on site, along with the power, water or venting the appliance depends on.
Quote Before Work
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Repair and Test
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.

A kitchen built from separate pieces
Gaggenau doesn't really sell ranges. It sells modules: Vario cooktop units in gas, induction, teppan yaki and grill, wall ovens stacked with combi-steam ovens and warming drawers, and refrigeration set side by side as individual columns. Each one is a self-contained appliance with its own controls and power.
For a repair, that's a help and a complication. A failed module rarely drags its neighbors down with it, but every piece is set into stone or panel-matched cabinetry, so we plan how to reach it before taking anything out.
An old name inside the Bosch Group
The name comes from an ironworks founded in 1683 in Gaggenau, in Germany's Black Forest region. BSH, the home appliance company of the Bosch Group, took it over in the mid-1990s, and it sits above Bosch and Thermador in that family.
Some internal engineering is shared across BSH, most clearly in the dishwashers, and the parts come through the same North American organization. That shared backbone is useful when we need service information or a part for a recent model.
Working in high-rise and gated homes
In Tampa, Gaggenau shows up in condo towers along Bayshore Boulevard, on Harbour Island and Downtown, and in custom homes on Davis Islands and in gated communities further north. Towers usually want a vendor certificate on file and a reserved service elevator, and gated neighborhoods need a name at the gate.
Mention those rules when you book. Swapping out a Gaggenau piece is seldom straightforward, since cutouts and trim are specific and a current model may not match an older opening, so fixing what's there usually makes more sense while parts are still produced.
Gaggenau appliance lines
- Refrigerators: Vario refrigerator and freezer columns, plus fully integrated single units hidden behind cabinet fronts. Common work: fans, probes, ice makers, hinge adjustment, gaskets and boards.
- Dishwashers: Panel-front dishwashers sharing BSH internals, some on sliding hinges for tall fronts. Pump-heaters, drain pumps, tripped leak floats and door springs come up most.
- Ovens: 400 series and 200 series wall ovens, combi-steam ovens and speed ovens. Locks, electronics fans, elements, scaled steam systems and controls are frequent repairs.
- Microwaves: Built-in microwaves and combination microwave ovens in the oven column. No-heat faults, door switches, cooling fans and control faults are most common.
- Cooktops: Vario modules and full-width cooktops: gas, wok, induction, teppan yaki and grill. Expect ignition and thermocouple faults, induction boards and worn knob valves.
- Wine Coolers: Vario wine climate cabinets divided into independently controlled zones. Zone fans, probes, gaskets, interior lights and controls are the routine repairs.
- Stoves: A Gaggenau stove call nearly always means a cooktop row above a wall oven. Each unit has its own controls and power, so we diagnose them one at a time.
- Ranges: Gaggenau builds cooking as cooktop modules over wall ovens, never as a one-piece range. Each half is diagnosed and priced on its own.
Gaggenau parts and sourcing
Parts for Gaggenau are ordered from the BSH parts operation in North America, which also stocks Bosch and Thermador, using the E-Nr and FD numbers printed on the rating plate. Routine wear items for recent models are generally obtainable. Older Vario modules, trim pieces and some boards can be slow to arrive or out of production, and you'll hear that before approving anything.

Gaggenau Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Yes, through BSH Hausgeräte, the Bosch Group's home appliance business, which sells Bosch and Thermador appliances too. Gaggenau keeps its own design team and product range, while some engineering and the parts network are shared.
The E-Nr and FD numbers on the rating plate. Look inside the oven frame with the door open, on the side edge of a dishwasher door, or on an inner wall of a refrigeration column. A clear photo is all we need.
No. Every module has separate wiring, controls and mounting, so its neighbors stay usable during the repair. Lifting one out of the stone takes some care around the adjacent units, and we plan for that.
