Bertazzoni Oven Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Bertazzoni has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your oven is still under Bertazzoni's factory warranty, start with Bertazzoni. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Lightning and surges
A nearby strike can take out a control board while the elements are fine. If the failure followed a storm, say so in your booking.
Hard-to-light burners
Boil-overs and humid air keep igniters damp and clicking. Dry the burner caps fully before booking; if it still won't light, we'll test the switch and igniter.
Self-clean trouble
A self-clean cycle can blow a thermal fuse or lock the door. If the oven died right after one, say so; it narrows the fault.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.
Storm season
An appliance that sat in floodwater stays unplugged until it's inspected. Generators belong outside, well away from doors and windows.

How an Oven Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Tell us what fails to heat or light, and send the model number; codes and odd smells are worth mentioning.

02

Find the Fault

The technician checks heat sources, sensors and switches, and confirms the power or gas reaching the unit.

03

Your Go-Ahead

You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.

04

Fixed and Verified

We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.

Bertazzoni oven design and construction

A Bertazzoni electric oven, built-in or under a range top, gets its cooking modes by mixing heat sources. Depending on the model there's a lower element hidden under the floor, an upper element, a fan in the back panel and often a circular element wrapped around that fan for true convection, all switched by a mode selector or electronic control. If one mode is broken while the others are fine, the culprit is almost always one element, the fan or the selector contacts for that position. Gas ovens have their own flame-supervision device, so an oven burner that catches and then goes out sends us to the thermocouple circuit first.

Common Bertazzoni oven failures

  • Ring element open
  • Rear fan motor grinding
  • Selector contact burned on one mode
  • Sensor reading high
  • Gas oven flame drops out

FAQ

Bertazzoni Oven Repair FAQ

What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.

Convection relies on the back fan and usually a ring element around it. Fan spinning but little heat suggests the ring element has opened. Fan not turning means the motor or its feed. Selector contacts can also fail for just that one position.

Its safety device needs proof of flame from a thermocouple or sensor. A weakened thermocouple, a grimy burner or a loose connection at the safety valve lets the valve close. We read the thermocouple's output and inspect the burner.
