Blomberg Microwave Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Blomberg has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your microwave is still under Blomberg's factory warranty, start with Blomberg. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Condo kitchens
Recirculating range hoods and induction tops are common in towers. Add the building's contractor hours and elevator rules to your notes.
Something mounted above?
If a microwave or hood hangs over the cooking surface, mention it. It changes the working room, and an over-the-range unit comes off its wall plate for most repairs.
Mostly electric kitchens
Electric and induction cooking outnumber gas around Tampa, though gas ranges exist. Tell us which you have and read us the tag behind the drawer.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.
Homes closed for months
Back after a season away? Run water through the lines and give the fridge a day before judging it, and tell us how long the house sat closed.

How a Microwave Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.

02

In-Home Testing

We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.

03

A Price You Approve

We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.

04

Fix and Check

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Blomberg microwave design and construction

Blomberg's microwaves are sold to match its ovens and ranges, and they break the way most microwaves do. Lamp on and turntable turning but food cold: the high-voltage side has failed, meaning the magnetron, diode, capacitor or transformer. Completely dead: the main fuse has usually gone, often because a door interlock failed and shorted. Arcing inside tends to start at a damaged waveguide cover or chipped cavity paint. Built-in units sit in a trim kit that has to come out for service. The high-voltage capacitor can hold a dangerous charge with the plug pulled, so leave the inside to a technician.

Common Blomberg microwave failures

  • Magnetron not heating
  • Main fuse gone, display blank
  • Door interlock failed
  • Arcing at waveguide cover
  • Keypad dead

FAQ

Blomberg Microwave Repair FAQ

Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.

Didn't see your question?

Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.

Usually. We check the magnetron, diode, capacitor and transformer to find which one failed and price that part. On a built-in model, repairing often wins, because a replacement has to match the trim kit and opening.

A slammed door can break an interlock switch, and a failed interlock often blows the main fuse. All the interlocks get checked along with the fuse, because a new fuse on its own will just blow again.
