Samsung Microwave Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Samsung has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your microwave is still under Samsung's factory warranty, start with Samsung. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Microwave Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
The model tag (often behind the drawer or on the frame) and what it does or doesn't do when you turn it on.
Find the Fault
We test elements or igniters, the temperature sensor and the controls, and check the supply at the outlet or gas valve.
Your Go-Ahead
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fixed and Verified
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
Samsung microwave design and construction
An over-the-range Samsung microwave also works as the kitchen's hood, so its fan, lights and grease filters are part of the job. If the light comes on and the tray turns but the food stays cold, the fault is in the high-voltage parts: magnetron, diode, capacitor or a thermal cutoff. The capacitor can hold a lethal charge long after unplugging, and that is the reason we don't hand this one off as a do-it-yourself fix. Door switches wear out and can blow the main fuse when they close in the wrong order. Keypads fail gradually, often starting with one or two buttons. Taking an over-the-range unit down takes two people and access to the mounting bolts inside the cabinet above, and in a condo kitchen we plan around the building's rules for work hours and elevator use.
Common Samsung microwave failures
- Magnetron or diode failed, no heat
- Door switch worn, blowing the fuse
- Keypad buttons not responding
- Vent fan motor noisy or stopped
- Turntable motor not turning

Samsung Microwave Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Usually, yes. Replacing it means buying a unit that fits the same cabinet opening and reinstalling a hood, so fixing the magnetron, diode or capacitor often comes out ahead. For a small countertop model the answer is often no, and we'll tell you that.
Inside sits a capacitor that stores enough energy to kill, and it doesn't drain just because the cord is out of the wall. It has to be discharged properly before anything is touched.
