Blomberg Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Blomberg began as a German brand and has belonged since 2002 to Arçelik, the Turkish group behind Beko; in North America it stands for compact, efficient European-style appliances. We repair it independently and have no tie to Blomberg's service program, so a machine still covered by the maker's warranty should go to Blomberg first. Out of coverage, the brand is pleasant to work on: pumps, filters, locks, sensors and heaters are separate parts, and most of the laundry and dishwashers come apart from the front.

Which Blomberg Appliance Needs Work?
Three habits behind most service calls
The washers catch coins, hair ties and lint in a pump filter behind a little hatch at the lower front. The ventless dryers turn moisture into water inside the cabinet rather than blowing it outside, so the condenser and the tank or drain hose need tending. The dishwashers lean on a filter in the tub floor and a float in the pan underneath that shuts everything down when it senses a leak.
Long cycles come with the design. A 24-inch washer that heats its own water and a dryer that never blows hot air both take longer than an old American top-load pair. We separate normal behavior from a fault before anything gets replaced.
A German name in Arçelik's family
The Blomberg name goes back to Germany in 1883 and was established in Europe long before it crossed the Atlantic. Arçelik acquired it in 2002 and builds it alongside Beko, so the two brands share a lot of engineering under different styling and features.
In the U.S., Blomberg sells mostly through independent dealers and kitchen designers. Its reputation rests on quiet 24-inch dishwashers and compact laundry, and it introduced heat-pump drying in compact dryers to the American market. Refrigerators, ranges, wall ovens and cooktops fill out the line.
Condos, closets and humidity
In a Channel District or Harbour Island tower, the building or association often restricts venting through an outside wall, and a stacked 24-inch washer with a ventless dryer slips into a hall closet with no duct at all. Townhomes and upstairs laundry rooms in newer communities use the same pairing.
Our climate is the trade-off. A front-loader closed up tight after the last load grows mildew in its rubber door boot, and a ventless dryer in a shut closet labors when the surrounding air is already damp. Leaving the washer door cracked and letting the closet breathe heads off a lot of calls.
Blomberg appliance lines
- Refrigerators: Counter-depth bottom-freezer and French-door models, some only 24 inches wide. Warm fresh-food sections, ice on the back wall, fan noise and water under the crispers are frequent calls.
- Washers: 24-inch front-loaders built to stack with the matching dryer. Pump filters, door locks, drum bearings, shock absorbers and internal heaters are our usual work.
- Dryers: Compact ventless condenser and heat-pump dryers, plus vented versions. Lint-packed condensers, tank-full warnings, failed water pumps and slow drying are typical.
- Dishwashers: Quiet 24-inch dishwashers with a cutlery tray up top, in stainless, panel-ready and compact sizes. Drain pumps, heater pumps, leak floats and door springs are routine.
- Ovens: Single wall ovens and range ovens with convection. Fan motors, elements, cavity sensors, cooling fans and door seals are the common failures.
- Microwaves: Microwaves sold to match Blomberg cooking. No heat, a blank display from a blown fuse, door switch faults and turntable trouble are most of the calls.
- Freezers: Bottom-freezer drawers on Blomberg refrigerators and standalone freezers. Frost, fan trouble, bent drawer rails and defrost faults are what we see.
- Cooktops: Gas tops with sealed burners plus induction and radiant electric tops. Igniters, spark switches, induction boards and cracked glass are frequent repairs.
- Stoves: A Blomberg stove in everyday use: a burner that won't catch, a cold surface element, an oven slow to come up or a knob that no longer turns the valve.
- Ranges: 24- and 30-inch gas, electric and induction ranges. We swap igniters, cavity sensors, elements, convection fans, spark switches and burner valves.
Blomberg parts and sourcing
Blomberg parts come into North America through the brand's own parts and service channel, and filters, pumps, locks, seals and elements for current models are generally stocked. Because Blomberg and Beko share engineering, some parts overlap, but we fit only what the maker lists for your model number or tell you plainly that a part is an equivalent. Uncommon items, such as a particular control board, can take longer, and you'll know the wait before we order.
Blomberg visits are booked across Tampa and the wider Tampa Bay area; the list of areas and ZIP codes shows whether your street is covered.

Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Arçelik owns both, and they share plenty of engineering, but their models and features differ. Some parts cross over. We still look everything up by your Blomberg model and serial number instead of assuming a Beko part will fit.
These front-loaders use little water, often heat it inside the machine and tumble gently, so cycles run long by design. Length alone isn't a fault. A cycle that hangs, loops back on a step or never finishes is what tells us something failed.
Yes. Most faults involve air or water: lint in the filter or condenser, a full tank, or a pump that no longer moves water out. Heat-pump models also contain a sealed refrigeration circuit, which is a bigger job that we price before you decide.
On dishwashers, check the door's edge or the side of the tub opening. Washers and dryers keep it around the door frame. Refrigerators have it inside the fresh-food section. A clear photo lets us look parts up before the visit.
