Blomberg Washer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals

Blomberg has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your washer is still under Blomberg's factory warranty, start with Blomberg. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.

Musty front-loaders
Humid air and low-water cycles keep the door boot damp. A smell or black spots usually point to the gasket and the drain filter together.
Hoses in the heat
Rubber fill hoses age fast in a hot garage. If yours bulge or crack at the ends, mention it so we bring braided replacements.
Hard water
Mineral scale collects in fill valves and spray arms. White film on dishes or a slow fill is worth noting in your booking.
Tenants & owners
A renter can set up the visit. We report the diagnosis and the quote to whoever owns the appliance, and they sign off before the repair.
Bungalows & older houses
In a pre-war bungalow or an early ranch, a modern appliance may be wired into a much older house. We look at the outlet, supply line and vent along with the unit.
Straight answers
If an older unit isn't worth the money to fix, we say so plainly and show you which part gave out.

How a Washer Repair Visit Works

01

Tell Us the Symptom

Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.

02

In-Home Testing

The technician runs the failing step, checks the pump, sensors and lock, and inspects the hoses and drain.

03

A Price You Approve

We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.

04

Fix and Check

With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.

Blomberg washer design and construction

Blomberg washers are 24-inch front-loaders meant to sit under a matching dryer, built on Arçelik's European platform. Drain water passes a filter behind a small hatch at the lower front, and anything that escapes the drum ends up caught there. Many models heat their own water with an element. Nothing starts until the door lock confirms it's shut, so a failed lock strands the machine at the beginning of the cycle. After years of high spins, the rear bearings start to roar and the shock absorbers soften until the cabinet knocks. In our humidity, the rubber door boot breeds mildew fast if the door is kept closed between loads.

Common Blomberg washer failures

  • Pump filter packed with coins
  • Door lock not confirming
  • Bearings roaring at high spin
  • Shocks worn, cabinet knocking
  • Water heater element open

Problems that aren't peculiar to Blomberg are explained on the washer repair page. Not sure we reach your street? The Tampa-area service map lists every ZIP code.

FAQ

Blomberg Washer Repair FAQ

What to expect, in brief. Anything specific to your appliance or your building is welcome in the booking notes.

Didn't see your question?

Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.

Put towels and a baking pan at the lower front, open the little hatch and turn the filter cap slowly to let the water out. Clear any coins, buttons or lint and tighten it back down. If it still won't pump out, the pump or its wiring needs a test.

Water and soap left in the folds of the rubber boot grow mildew, and humid air speeds that along. Wipe the boot after the last load, leave the door and dispenser open, and run the drum-clean cycle regularly. A boot that's torn or stained deep in its folds can be replaced.
