Everest Freezer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Everest has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your freezer is still under Everest's factory warranty, start with Everest. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Freezer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Note the temperatures if you have a thermometer, any frost or puddles, and the model number from inside the door.
In-Home Testing
We read coil and cabinet temperatures, check both fans and test the defrost parts before naming the fault.
A Price You Approve
We explain what failed and quote the repair. Nothing is done until you agree to the price.
Fix and Check
After the repair we test a full cycle and check for leaks, noise or codes before we leave.
Everest freezer design and construction
Everest freezers use the same refrigeration as the coolers, with extra hardware to manage ice. On a timed cycle, the controller warms the evaporator with an electric defrost heater, and a second heater runs along the drain tube so the water actually escapes instead of turning back into ice. If either heater dies, ice collects on the coil or plugs the drain, the fan loses its air path and the box warms up. Low-wattage heaters also run around the door opening so the gasket can't freeze to the frame; when one fails, doors stick and gaskets tear. On a humid delivery day, a door held open coats the coil in frost faster than defrost can clear it.
Common Everest freezer failures
- Coil iced, defrost heater dead
- Drain heater out, line frozen
- Evaporator fan stopped
- Door-frame heater failed
- Defrost end sensor bad

Everest Freezer Repair FAQ
Short answers to what people usually ask before a visit. Anything not covered can go in the notes when you book.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Please leave the chisel in the drawer. Puncture the coil and a simple defrost fix becomes a sealed-system repair. Empty the cabinet into another freezer and book a diagnosis. Letting it thaw out by hand gets you through a shift or two, yet unless the failed heater, sensor or drain is replaced, the ice simply grows back.
A freezer door frame carries a small heater for exactly this reason. With it working, the rubber stays above freezing and lets go cleanly. With it dead, frost glues the gasket to the frame and the next hard pull tears it. We check the heater circuit first, then fit the new gasket so it lasts.
