Turbo Air Freezer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Turbo Air has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your freezer is still under Turbo Air's factory warranty, start with Turbo Air. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Freezer Repair Visit Works
Tell Us the Symptom
Tell us which section is warm, whether you hear the fan or compressor, and what the model tag says.
In-Home Testing
We read coil and cabinet temperatures, check both fans and test the defrost parts before naming the fault.
A Price You Approve
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Fix and Check
We install the part matched to your model, then run it to make sure the problem is gone.
Turbo Air freezer design and construction
A Turbo Air freezer's controller decides when to defrost, warms the coil with a heater, and relies on a termination sensor to say when the ice is gone. A failure anywhere in that chain lets frost thicken until air can't pass the coil, and the cabinet temperature climbs; it's the single most frequent reason these freezers fall behind. The condenser is next, since a dirty one forces longer, hotter run times in a kitchen that's already warm. A tired gasket or a door that won't close on its own feeds damp air to the coil and speeds icing. All of that gets ruled out before anyone connects gauges to the refrigerant side.
Common Turbo Air freezer failures
- Coil choked with ice
- Defrost heater or end sensor failed
- Evaporator fan stopped
- Condenser too dirty
- Door won't self-close

Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Two sources: humid air sneaking past the door, or a defrost system that has stopped melting the coil clean. Door closure and gasket come first; then the heater, termination sensor and controller are tested.
It could be, but an iced coil, dead fan or dirty condenser is far more common. Those get ruled out before we test the sealed system.
