Everest Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Everest makes commercial refrigeration sold through foodservice dealers: reach-ins, undercounters, prep tables, chef bases and bar coolers. We work on it independently with no tie to the manufacturer, so equipment inside its warranty period goes through Everest's own service arrangement first. Once that's done, we come to the kitchen, track down the fault and hand you a price before touching anything.

Which Everest Appliance Needs Work?
The equipment and where it comes from
Everest Refrigeration has its roots in South Korea and entered the U.S. market in the early 2000s, distributing from Southern California. The line covers the self-contained cold storage a small or mid-size operation lives on: one-, two- and three-door reach-ins, undercounter and worktop boxes, sandwich and pizza prep tables, chef bases that sit under the cook line, and back-bar and bottle coolers.
Locally that means bars in Ybor City and along Howard Avenue, cafés and food-hall stalls in Tampa Heights and the Channel District, pizza shops and independent restaurants from Carrollwood to Brandon, plus school, club and office kitchens buying through a dealer.
Hot lines, humid air and the condenser
A chef base under a charbroiler breathes the hottest air in the building, and a prep table swallows warm air every time someone lifts the lid. Add a Florida summer, when the kitchen fights humidity as well as heat, and the condensing unit gets very little rest. Grease rides in on that air and coats the coil, drawer gaskets get kicked and scorched, and the evaporator makes more condensate than it would in a dry climate.
Nearly every Everest failure we see grows out of those conditions. A regular condenser cleaning, lids closed between tickets and gaskets swapped before they tear prevent a large share of calls.
Working around your service
Tell us your service hours when booking, and when the fault allows, we'll come before or after the rush. If a unit is drifting warm, get the product into other cold storage first; food safety outranks the repair, and you know what your inspector expects. After a storm knocks out power, take temperatures before restocking and give each cabinet time to come fully down. Once we know the cause, you get the price, and work begins only on your approval.
Everest appliance lines
- Refrigerators: Reach-ins, undercounters, prep tables, chef bases and bar coolers. Fouled condensers, evaporator fans, door and drawer gaskets, controllers and condensate overflow are the regular calls.
- Freezers: Reach-in and undercounter freezers and freezer chef bases. Defrost heaters, drain-line heaters, evaporator fans, controllers and door-frame heaters drive most failures.
Everest parts and sourcing
Everest parts come through commercial refrigeration supply houses and the brand's dealer network, looked up from the data plate. Fan motors, door gaskets, controllers, probes and hinge or closer hardware are what we order most. A few items fit only Everest cabinets, so we check stock and shipping time during the visit and say so when a compatible substitute is the sensible option.
Everest visits are booked across Tampa and the wider Tampa Bay area; the list of areas and ZIP codes shows whether your street is covered.

Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Start at the condenser. A coil caked with grease and dust can't get rid of heat, so the compressor runs and the box still climbs. If the coil is clean, an evaporator fan, a coil iced by a defrost problem or the controller comes next.
Yes. Back-bar coolers, bottle coolers and glass-door merchandisers are refrigeration like anything else and fail the same ways. They're often boxed into tight millwork with little air, so we look at how they're installed as well as at the unit.
Frequently, yes. When the same commercial unit keeps failing, the cause is usually airflow, a worn gasket or the spot it was installed. Once it's fixed, we walk your staff through why it broke and what to clean or move, so the fix becomes part of the closing checklist.
