Maxx Ice Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Maxx Ice is a budget-friendly commercial ice brand, chosen by businesses that need ice daily but don't want to pay for a premium name. We're an independent company with no service agreement with the maker. A machine recent enough to still be covered should go back to the dealer or the manufacturer first; after that, we'll come take a look.

Which Maxx Ice Appliance Needs Work?
A Florida-based equipment group
The Legacy Companies, headquartered in Weston, Florida, owns both Maxx Ice and the Maxx Cold refrigeration line. On the ice side you'll find undercounter all-in-one machines, modular ice heads designed to sit on a storage bin, and the bins they sit on.
They fit places with modest to moderate ice demand and a tight budget: a neighborhood bar, a taco stand, a café, a fellowship hall, a staff kitchen at an office, a home bar on a lanai.
The usual faults
Inside, a Maxx Ice cuber follows the standard pattern: a pump spills water across a cold evaporator, cubes grow, and a warm harvest releases the sheet into the bin. Nearly every service call lands somewhere in that cycle, whether it's mineral crust slowing the release, a pump or fill valve that has died, or a sensor misjudging cube size or bin level.
The air-cooled versions breathe kitchen air through their condenser, and that air brings grease and flour with it. A coated condenser lengthens each freeze and drives pressures up, so the ice output sags well before any part fails.
Installation matters as much as the machine
Undercounter units are often squeezed under a bar with little clearance, and in a Tampa summer a cabinet with no airflow can be hot enough on its own to cut production. Many drain by gravity to a floor drain some distance away, and a line that sags or fills with slime is a frequent reason for a puddle.
Outdoor bars and lanais are another trap. Most of these machines are meant for indoor use, so heat, humidity and salt air near the water take a toll on the condenser and cabinet. We judge the setup along with the machine, since a fix that leaves a clogged drain or a smothered air intake in place won't hold.

- Ice Makers: Self-contained undercounter cubers and modular heads on bins. We're usually called for a harvest that drags or fails, weak output, a leak at the drain, a dead pump or fill valve, or a condenser coated in grease.
Maxx Ice parts and sourcing
Maxx Ice parts come through the brand's own channels and a limited set of commercial suppliers, not every parts house. Pumps, fill valves, fan motors and sensors are normally orderable by model number, while boards and evaporators can take longer. We verify the part against the data plate on site and let you know whether the machine can stay in service while you wait.
Maxx Ice visits are booked across Tampa and the wider Tampa Bay area; the list of areas and ZIP codes shows whether your street is covered.

Didn't see your question?
Tell us the brand, model number and the symptom. A few things can be ruled out from a description; most faults need testing on site.
Commercial: it's marketed to bars, restaurants, cafés and the like. The smaller undercounter models sometimes land in home bars, and we service them in either place.
Check the condenser grille for a film of dust or grease, clear anything crowding its vents, and notice how hot that corner gets. If all that looks fine, mineral buildup or poor water flow is the next suspect, and we test for both on site.
Covered repairs belong with the dealer or Maxx Ice, since we're independent. If they turn the claim down or the coverage has run out, we'll diagnose it and give you a price.
