ASKO Washer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
ASKO has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your washer is still under ASKO's factory warranty, start with ASKO. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
Say where it stops in the cycle, any code on the display, and whether water is left standing.
Diagnosis at Home
The technician runs the failing step, checks the pump, sensors and lock, and inspects the hoses and drain.
Quote Before Work
You hear the diagnosis and the price, and decide. If the repair isn't worth it, we'll tell you.
Repair and Test
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
ASKO washer design and construction
For a 24-inch machine, an Asko front-loader is heavy: stainless drum, stainless outer tub, and a top spin speed that's high for its size. All that speed falls on the drum bearings and the dampers, so a bearing on its way out roars through every spin. Water exits through a pump hidden behind a small hatch low on the front, and that's where hair ties, coins and bra wires end up. If the door lock can't confirm it's latched, the machine won't start. Humidity adds its own chore: shut the door between loads and the rubber boot grows mildew, so prop it open and wipe the folds. Stacked pairs transmit every wobble up to the dryer, which makes a level floor essential.
Common ASKO washer failures
- Pump hatch filter packed with debris
- Door lock not confirming
- Drum bearings roaring
- Dampers worn out
- Door boot mildewed or torn

ASKO Washer Repair FAQ
The questions we hear most often about this kind of repair. If yours isn't here, add it to your booking notes.
Didn't see your question?
Send us the make, the model tag and what the appliance is doing. Some problems can be narrowed down before anyone drives over; most need hands on the machine.
Lay down towels, open the hatch at the bottom front and slowly unscrew the pump filter to clear it. Expect a fair amount of water. If it still won't pump out afterward, we test the pump and look at the hose.
Some motion at top speed is expected. Violent shaking usually comes from an out-of-level floor, transit bolts never removed, or dampers that have worn. We check the setup and suspension before anything else.
