Speed Queen Washer Service for Houses, Condos and Rentals
Speed Queen has no connection to us, and we aren't one of its authorized repair centers. If your washer is still under Speed Queen's factory warranty, start with Speed Queen. After that coverage ends, send us the model number and what it's doing when you book; that lets us research parts before the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model tag, and what happens: no fill, no drain, a leak, a smell or a code.
Diagnosis at Home
We test the pump, valves and door or lid lock, and look at the drain line and supply hoses too.
Quote Before Work
We show you the failed part and give a price for the fix; the work waits for your yes.
Repair and Test
With the part fitted, we run the appliance through a cycle while you're there to confirm the fix.
Speed Queen washer design and construction
Speed Queen top-loaders drive both the agitator and the spin through a transmission turned by a motor and belt, and many use a mechanical timer. That arrangement is durable and easy to test: a no-spin complaint can be a lid switch, the belt or the transmission, and each can be checked on its own. A puddle underneath usually means a hose, the pump or a weeping transmission seal. The front-load Speed Queens are another design altogether: an electronic door lock, a drain pump, and a drum riding on its own bearings. Most front-load calls involve that lock or a pump jammed by a coin or a sock. In a hot, humid garage, front-load boots also need regular wiping to keep mildew down.
Common Speed Queen washer failures
- Lid switch fault stopping spin
- Drive belt slipping or broken
- Transmission seal leaking
- Drain pump clogged with debris
- Front-load door lock not engaging

Speed Queen Washer Repair FAQ
A few plain answers before you book. Details about your home or the appliance can go in the form's notes field.
Didn't see your question?
Describe what's happening and include the model plate if you can. We'll say what we can from that, and the rest gets checked at your home.
Usually the belt has slipped or broken. Less often the transmission or motor is at fault, so the belt and drive are inspected first.
Most of the time a sock, coin or hair tie has lodged at the pump. Once that is pulled out, the pump is run and tested to make sure it is healthy.
